Dear ECOTECH distributor,
As a valued distributor of ECOTECH, I wanted to share with you some exciting news. I am delighted to announce that ECOTECH has signed an agreement to merge with ACOEM.
At ECOTECH we strive for growth, and it’s this vision to grow that has led to this merger. The growth of our company, the growth of new ideas and the advancements of new technology.
The merger of ECOTECH and French company ACOEM brings together proven innovators in science and engineering who share a vision to improve environmental, productivity and regulatory outcomes for government agencies, industries and communities around the world.
Having been pioneers in the field of environmental monitoring for over 40 years, Robert and Judy Dal Sasso will sell their share of ECOTECH to ACOEM over the coming months. I will remain in the leadership role as the Managing Director of ECOTECH and retain my shareholding.
ACOEM is a privately owned global leader headquartered in Lyon, France. Under five brands the ACOEM Group offers products and services that prevent noise and vibration pollution, improve air quality, and increase the productivity and reliability of industrial machines to help companies and public authorities reduce their environmental impact:
- 01dB – Noise & vibration pollution monitoring
- ONEPROD – Condition monitoring of rotating machinery
- FIXTURLASER – Measurement & shaft alignment
- MEAX – Machine tool measurement
- METRAVIB – Noise & vibration engineering; Material testing; Protection of people, sites & vehicles.
The “ECOTECH” name will be retained because of the global recognition and industry respect the brand holds in the environmental monitoring market. In the weeks ahead you will see changes to the ECOTECH logo celebrating our merger with ACOEM. Changing logo also helps ECOTECH leverage our position amongst a global family of ACOEM brands and respective product offerings.
Under the merger in the coming months, it will be business as usual for ECOTECH. Our commitment to you as an ECOTECH distributor is unchanged. We will continue to develop business together and look for new opportunities to penetrate global markets.
The merger of ECOTECH and ACOEM presents new opportunities for growth in product lines and markets I suspect you will be keen to explore. We are developing a joint strategy with ACOEM to explore these opportunities and would welcome your input.
I am sure you will have questions. Please do not hesitate to contact myself, James Agius or any of the signatories to this letter directly. In the meantime, I can assure you that Robert, Judy and I made the decision to merge with ACOEM after much consideration. We genuinely believe this merger between two great companies with complementary synergies is in the best interests of ECOTECH stakeholders.
As I was reminded in reading the ECOTECH 40 year anniversary book – “TOGETHER: Future Forward Stories Past” – ECOTECH has a special place in the hearts of many people all over the world. In my hands and with your support, I am confident the future of ECOTECH is a bright one. The merger of ECOTECH and ACOEM enhances and accelerates our ability to grow, in turn, providing a promising future for us all.
Yours sincerely,
