The Second Indian International Conference on Air Quality Management (IICAQM 2017) was held on the 1-2 June, 2017 in New Delhi, India. The conference is a significant think tank for researchers, government and industry to come together to share their expertise in the field of air quality management and related health risks.
Recognising the significant impact that noise and vibration have on the environment and populations worldwide, the conference included a thought-provoking presentation from ACOEM’s Asia Pacific Support Manager, Irfan Mohamed. Entitled “Environmental Noise, Health Issues and Monitoring,” Irfan provided delegates with an informative look at the affect noise has on major population centres and the tools available to effectively monitor and assess noise levels and sources.
